I never stayed out of home before I joined LBSIM.....here are a few words on hostel life...Hostel a place supposed to be HOME AWAY FROM HOME....no family, no relative, even not a single known face in starting, just a fear is your best friend, the fear that what kind of people you will get to stay with. Then comes a real change in life, slowly and slowly you start knowing people, start interacting with them, you find people with similar views and also people with totally opposite views, you find people with whom you are most comfortable with and also people with whom you are most incomfortable with. You start helping others in eaxh and every work they do and also start getting help from others. Sometimes you find people fighting with each other and the next very moment it seems as if they are the best friends. whenever you fell ill it seems as if whole hostel has become Doctor and nurse for you, at the moment you feel lonely and feel home sick, it seems in a moment that the whole hostel has converted into your home and all the hostelites are your family members. So its the LOVE that makes an unknown hostel a HOME, and unknown people your family members....LOVE ALL BEINGS.......

Very gud work.Written nicely manish, in a simple language.. Very true bout tht whole hostel turning into doctors..still remember all the cases ,u ,me,venky ,giri everybody.. Reminds of gud times ,its a mixed bag the hostel experience ..
It's nice to hear abt hostel life frm you.
U r right manish..similar was wth me that i never stayed in hostel before this.But these 9 months(i hav left hostel now) hav taught a lot of things to me..
Similarly..the affection that we people got frm each other and frnds like YOU are the moments that i will never forget in my life....
